Privacy Policy

This is a working policy for an early-stage product. Review it with a qualified lawyer before relying on it commercially.
1. Who we are
launchd.live (“launchd”, “we”) is operated by Dario Fanciullo, a sole trader based in Italy. For any privacy request, contact hello@launchd.live. We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address and an authentication credential, managed by our auth provider (passwords are stored hashed; we never see them in plain text).
- Optional profile data: a GitHub username or organisation, if you provide it for repository transfer.
- Order data: which ideas you purchased, the tier, amount, currency and status.
- Payment data: processed directly by Stripe. We do not receive or store full card details.
- Technical data: server logs and security-related metadata (e.g. IP address, timestamps).
3. Why we process it and legal bases (GDPR)
- To provide the service — create your account, deliver dossiers, manage orders. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To take payment — via Stripe. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep the service secure — abuse prevention, logging. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
- To comply with law — e.g. accounting obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation.
4. Processors we use
- Supabase — database and authentication.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery.
- Resend — transactional email.
These providers may process data outside the EU/EEA under appropriate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
5. Retention
We keep account and order data for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise it.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise them, email hello@launchd.live. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
7. Cookies
We use only essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and to operate the site securely. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date above.
